Proxxy Privacy Policy

Proxxy is a browser extension that lets you configure and switch between proxy servers in Chrome. This policy describes what information the extension handles and how.

Data collection

Proxxy does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or browsing activity. There are no analytics, trackers, or advertising components in the extension.

Data storage

The proxy configurations you create (server addresses, ports, and related settings) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's extension storage. This data never leaves your device except as part of Chrome's own settings sync, if you have that enabled, and is deleted when you remove the extension.

Permissions

The extension requests two permissions:

• proxy — required to apply your chosen proxy settings to the browser.
• storage — required to save your proxy configurations locally.

Third-party proxy servers

When you enable a proxy, your web traffic is routed through the proxy server you configured. Those servers are chosen and operated by you or a third party of your choosing; Proxxy does not operate any proxy servers and has no visibility into the traffic that passes through them. Please review the privacy practices of any proxy provider you use.

Any changes to this policy will be published in the extension's source repository alongside this document.
